I never shared this one. Found locally and had a lot to be sorted out on it although the previous owner had started it well.
Enjoyed it for around a year like this.
Swapped out the Swallow Saddle for this Ti B17. Sold the bike for less than the value of the saddle....

That’s the spirit! Last bike I sold I lost quite a bit on. I remember leaving a $90 seatpost on it and derping over why I didn’t swap out a parts bin post before listing it.

My Gazelle was repainted a few months ago. Before boring green with many scratches and some surface rust. It is now white with blue. It looks much nicer. Here on one of its firsts rides after the repaint.

Might have posted this '72 PX-10 here before. It's worth sharing again anyway. Got this pre-pandemic from Steve Whitlatch and it's a keeper.

How is Mr. Whitlatch doing? He used to be involved in this forum, as well as the vintage rides up there. He's gotten rid of the Ochsner and the PX-10... is this just prudent decluttering, or is he not riding?? I did have the pleasure of attending a few of the vintage Chicagoland rides with him and others. In fact, here's a shot showing Steve on the PX-10 (right side)...

No new white bikes for me last year, but just brought home this Raleigh USA Team this afternoon.
Very ragged, slammed and rusty, missing the front derailleur bracket; but who can pass up a Reynolds 753 bike with Dura-Ace, CHEAP?
As bought, but maybe I'll get to show it cleaned up next year?

1986 Wayne Roberts built custom Ricardo in Columbus SL, with paint (and Viscount stickers) by Ray Greenslade. Locally made in the Ricardo factory here (Adelaide, South Australia), which was only about 3 miles from here. Pictures are as found, it's now getting brightened up. Luckily the Viscounts aren't cleared over , so I'll likely replace them with Ricardo and retain the custom paint.

I posted this in another thread asking a question, but then saw this thread and decided to post here also. It's a Ross Clark Roscotelli built sometime in the early 90's in New Zealand. It's been repainted at some point and up close it looks a bit rough but it'll do. 65cm c-c seat tube but only 57cm c-c top tube. It came with a busted and stuck seat post, cracked stem, worn-out wheels and some pretty dry bearings. I swapped the knackered 7 speed 6400 out for 8 speed, and replaced the Modolo brakes with 6400 brakes too. It's a really nice ride.
