PFP-3 replacement

I am wondering if all or most Park tool pumps use heads that are interchangeable. Went on to Park tool and basically my PFP-3 is now a PFP-8.
I just need a new head as the old one is worn out.
Thanks.

What are you calling the "head"? If that is the airchuck that you attach to the valve of the tube/tire. Then you can hunt around and find both the airchuck and and hose at a lot of places once you figure out the proper search terms for that site or search engine. Your only real issue might be that the hose ID or OD might be different and sometimes that can be an issue.

Also, if you go toPark Tools website and look for replacement parts then you'll find that they show what they call the head and apparently it's still available to purchase, though I didn't try.

Thanks. I guess it's the chuck. I did go to Park tools and my pump is the PFP-3. I guess they are up to the PFP-8 now. Was just wondering if the replacement chuck would fit my PFP-3.

This Park pump rebuild kit is compatible with PFP 3,5,6,7,8. It includes both the chuck and plunger o-ring.

I have a PFP3 I bought 20 years ago. About 5 years ago, I bought this kit and pump is like brand new, all for a $3 kit. That's one thing I like about Park; they offer rebuild kits and parts for their tools.

More than you ever wanted to know about your PFP3: https://www.parktool.com/en-us/blog/...-pfp-3-service

Also, I've emailed Park with technical or compatibility questions, and they usually reply within a few hours.
