Strava says 354,347 feet. 6216 miles. Legit numbers, no trainer or ebike. Rode my age on my birthday (72) but did not get in a century this year.

I live on the easternshore of Delaware. It is about as flat as can be. My highest point to ride is the Indian River inlet bridge, about 50 ft. above sea level. I go over that and back maybe 2 times a week. Other than that, we are talking about 16 feet above sea level. I may have reached a mile in elevation gain for the whole year. I have not been more than 40 miles away from home in 2021, by any means of transportation. Good grief, my world has gotten small.

I wish I had some hill climbing to do near by. It's kind of funny, I have had numerous riders tell me they ride in hills all the time where they live, but here on the flatland where I live, their legs get tired because they never stop pedaling and are not used to that. Also gripes about the wind. Everybody has their perspective. I know when I am somewhere with hills, I might cuss the climbs a bit, but I sure do like the downhill ride.

This is the first year I've owned a GPS cyclometer, so it's the first year that I get to participate in this particular end-of-year pissing contest, yay! According to RideWithGPS I climbed 219,848' in 2021 ...but I still expect to put in another week's worth of riding before 2022, presuming the weather cooperates.

I live in central Oklahoma and like several others here have not strayed too far from home this year. Its' pretty flat here, but not pancake flat. 2430 miles, 82,221 feet elevation gain. With the exception of one 75-mile ride near Tulsa, all of that is starting and ending at my house.

72k of that climbing was in six days of riding between August 21st and 31st, over 1,150 miles. That was a tough ten days. EDIT: Actually 4 of those days I'd describe as tough, and 2 as brutal. The rest days were bliss.

240,564. Slightly under last year. Rain has stopped us for the past week; I needed about 14k more. But hit my highest mileage, being a tad over last year at 3364 miles. Yay!

233,000 feet over 5,500 miles. About half my miles are flat commuting and the elevation gain is from the weekend rides in the local hills. My regular loop from home is 30 miles with 2,500 feet of climbing which adds up quickly.
