North Carolina Cycling Festival

I see that the North Carolina Cycling Festival occurs next weekend (19-21) in Mocksville, NC. Of note to us C&Vers is that there will be a Vintage Bike Show highlighting pre-1983 bikes. Hopefully I will be in good enough shape by then to go have a look-see, still recuperating from taking a trip down our deck stairs on my back after slipping on the top (wet) stair, oof!

Hope you're recuperating; back falls are no fun! I'll be doing the 20 mile ride on the 20th. Looks like it should be decent weather. I knew about the Vintage Bike Show, but not about the 1983 cut- off. But I'll be riding my 1984 Bianchi. Should be fun!

Here’s a link for more info: https://nccyclingfestival.com

I wonder if the bike show is a vestige of the old CR get together they used to have in Greensboro every year. I’m going to be in North Cackalacky this week but unfortunately need to head back home before the weekend.

Hi! Did you ever locate the bike show and swap meet? I signed up for one of the rides but was physically unable to participate. I showed up to get my t-shirt on Saturday and to check out everything else. I could NOT find the bike show! I walked all down that Main Street. (Did get good lunch at O'Callaghan's).
Where was that Bike Show and swap meet?

Wow, that’s a bummer! I did not end up going, my back was not cooperative in that regard! The only thing I knew about it is signups at 279 Main Street in Mocksville, or Davie WMCA at 215 Cemetary St, not even sure if bike show was at YMCA or other spot, they were certainly not real clear on where things were occurring!
