Thank you for thinking of me on this. I am going to reach out to the seller and see if he is willing to ship. never hurts to try.

From ad: "very faint bump near headtube, but almost undetectable (see last pic)"

Thank you for posting this 3Rensho. I was able to connect with the seller late last night and make a clandestine deal in a dark parking lot of OC! LOL Nice frame for a fair price that I couldnt pass up! Really nice seller BTW!

I live not too far from this seller. If you need an extra hand.

You're going to corner the market on 3rensho's at this pace!

Not often you see a titanium hybrid.

Quality frame from the same Chinese supplier as Airborne, J Wilhelm, and others. There are at least 2 styles. The earlier one is the same frame as an Airborne Valkyrie (65mm bb drop, eyelets, room for 35s) the second version has shaped tubing at dates to starting ~2007.

They sell off older bikes every so often, I spotted one of their ads on pinkbike and was able to buy a flatbar 10spd triple for $600. It was pretty scratched up and worn out components, but the frame scotchbrited right up. Mine will get a 650b conversion sometime this season as the bb drop and chainstay indentions look perfect.

Look at the bike, not the poke.

Price is OBO. Frame looks a little sweaty.

Facebook Chicago Trek 890

1984 Trek 890 $385 Chicago, IL

1984 trek 890. Reynolds’s 531 tubing. Lugged steel frame. Made in USA. This model was made only one year 1984 as a touring commuter, a forgotten classic. Great bike, quality parts. Recently tuned up everything works as it should. IYKYK. Price is obo. Frame size small.

LOL ! Well IDK about that but its certainly worth a try! I think all of us have certain bikes that hit the heart different then others. I felt like Yoshi and I had a bit of a friendship when I was in Osaka and he was excited to know I was racing in Japan and really wanted me to come to his shop for a fitting for my bike. It just sucks that I was struggling enough that the costs of travel RT to Tokyo was basically my food budget for the month so I never got to meet him. The seller last night knows 3 Rensho;s well as well and were talking about all of the prototype , 1 off unicorn bikes Yoshi produced because he was such an innovator. My favorite is still the funny bike he built for pursuit for Dave Grylls for the 84 Olympic Trials. I will let you know if I hear back from the seller. Thank you for help offer!
