I'll probably go if I'm in town. Vacation plans may interfere.

And the campsite is at the Atelier. I'm thinking a get together at a nearby Pub is in order.

I'm hopping a train from Sacramento arriving on Friday afternoon with bike and will be there through Monday afternoon. Staying about a half mile or so from the show. Any planned meet ups?

I'm trying to make it. Probably Saturday for riding and show-going, Sunday with the family in PDX.
(Any family activities I shouldn't miss while in town?)

Got a kid moving that week and a funeral on Sunday. Can’t commit now but as things solidify, I’ll ace it some part of tge festivities.

I"m in. Haven't been to the Zidell yard in a long time. (Where the show is happening.) Zidell was still in business (barge builders) and the firm I worked for designed some of their barges. Like some of the bikes at this show. Custom welded steel. Just a tad larger.

Re-revive - Friday attendees - meet up spot post show? I’m not familiar with places at the South Waterfront but I think there’s a Mcminamins (or however it’s spelled) in John’s Landing?
Of course, open to suggestions…

Commenting to say I'm looking to be there Friday, if things go well with my work schedule this week. Can't make it Saturday or Sunday.
Are people planning to ride in? I imagine there is going to be plentiful bike parking, but I don't see that on their website.

just talked to the go by bike folks. Good news: gated fenced parking, only employee access. Bad news: Friday, space is shared with OHSU. Usually have 300 of the 400 spots taken up. So it might be tight. But…They expect bike parking will be wide on pen on weekend.

Have fun! Very much enjoyed the couple shows we hosted, back in the day. Like a rolling art museum and NASA exhibit, all in one place.

How is this C&V? It looks like maybe one manufacturer making bikes even remotely C&V. And Columbus Tubing is a vendor.
There's no way I'd waste my money on this. Looks like the fugly trend in bikes continues unabated.

Planning to attend Friday for sure, and probably another day as well. Eager to see a new, apparently well organized large show again in Portland. Hope it's a success. To me, seems a bit like the Philly Bike Expo, anticipate seeing some very fine customs. Also interested to see how many PNW makers are still making a go of it. When I moved to Portland in 2006, it was a mecca of custom builders, Andy Newlands (of Strawberry) organized Portland Handmade Show, and then the national Handmade Show made an appearance.
