That would be great. In fact, many of my Wisconsin rides begin from Hofmann park in River Falls! They are typically group rides under the auspices of TCBC (https://www.biketcbc.org/index.html).
For those of us in mostly-flat Minnesota, the fantastic hilly country roads of the driftless area in W. Wisconsin is cycling heaven.

I'd like to think I can accomplish the following:
1. Another 2,000 mi. (or more) season.
2. Continued rides with my gf.
3. Get down to 175 lbs from my current 185 lbs.
4. Ride the rail trail from Pittsburgh to DC.
That's about it. I do too many other things, like motorcycle touring, to think that I can get the time to do more cycle miles.

Due to injuries, I missed my one main cycling goal; to break 6,000 miles for the year. Next years goal is to break 6,000 miles/year and not have so damn many injuries. Let's see if I can make that happen. Also want to start cycling across Florida and the US sometime next year.

Like most responses I would like to ride more and try to ride each day in 2013.
But would really like the following bicycle related activities:
1. Ride the Harpeth River Ride, again
2. Ride the North Alabama MS ride again
3. Ride Chief Ladiga-Silver Comet again in cooler weather next time
4. Ride lots with friends and family
5. N+1 sometime in 2013
6. Do my birthday ride in September, 68 miles

Hmmmm ...
I was actually (no ... really) starting think seriously about this (cycling goals for 2013) for the first time, but now not so much. As is the case for many of us, life throws its little curves.
So, for 2013 my goal will be to "ride lots" (©E.M.) -- as much as is consistent with helping Mrs. Badger through radiation and chemo.

And on this point I will have Mr.and Mrs. Badger in all of my prayers. I sure hope all goes well for Mrs.Badger with the chemo. That is such a rough ordeal. My mom had a long fight with radiation on the early 90's for colon cancer. Chemo is no walk in the park, I hope she can find some relief during the treatments and you can have the strength you need while you are doing caretaker. My wife had 10 years of that with my health problems and stood with me. You are a good person to be there for her. Don't forget to take care of Badger 1, too.

The whole situation puts things, including cycling, in perspective. Mrs. Badger has had a very rough 3 or so years -- thyroid c; a near-fatal burst appendix (within an hour or so); now malignant/aggressive breast cancer -- and just turned 60. Retired a year and a half ago after a life-long full-time career as an RN caring for others. Life ain't fair sometimes, one thinks, but doesn't play favourites; she's a tough badger, and will get through it.
Thank you again.
B.

After about 15 months of dealing with significant medical problems, and with two operations planned for next year, my goal is to complete my course of treatment and be able to ride without major health issues.
And to do a century ride.

Badger,
The ruptured appendix started the whole 10 years of repeated surgeries for me. Gangrene set in and the bowel eviscerated 1 day after I went home, free helo ride back to hospital and another surgery. 14 more surgeries over the next 10 years. Please pass to her Monica's and my best wishes for a complete recovery form the cancer and chemo.

Get in a few miles, be safe, continue riding with the Phoenix Metro Bicycle Club and complete the Texas Rando Stampede 1200.

My main 2013 goal is to repeat my 2009 AIDS/LifeCycle charity ride (545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles) in early June now that I've turned seventy. Training for the ride is a major commitment.

My 2012 Goals
On the bike
Most of the above is to help gear up for the 2015 Paris Brest Paris, a 1,200km / 90-hour ride.
Off the bike
- Increase my FTP by 10% to 20%
- Participate in the National 24 hour Challenge, and do at least 300 miles
- Complete the Super Randonneur series (a 200km ride, a 300km, a 400km, and a 600km, all to be completed within 12 months.)
- Get good at hills - which are my nemesis at the moment
- Enter at least one race, and make some decisions about racing in the longer term
- Get down to my ideal weight (just 10 lbs - sounds easier than it is!)
- Complete a few centuries - probably not as many as this year, though
- Ride the C&O Towpath ( https://bikewashington.org/canal/ ) in a day.
- Maybe participate in a Gran Fondo National Championship ( https://www.granfondonationalchampion.../frederick-md/ )
Most of the above is to help gear up for the 2015 Paris Brest Paris, a 1,200km / 90-hour ride.
Off the bike
- Do the Hike Across Maryland (HAM) in under 12 hours - this is a 42 mile challenge-hike along the Appalachian Trail, from the Pennsylvania border, to Harpers Ferry, WV
- Climb Mt, Rainier
- Climb Mt, Shasta

My daughter lives in SF and is already signed up to ride that same event.
