Canyon Spectral CF7 29er pedal strikes....

I'm getting pedal strikes in areas with my new Canyon I've never got on my old bike. I pumped up the shock to the recommended PSI as per my weight. Anyone have this experience? Standard length crank arms 170mm.

Shock: FOX Float X Performance

The bike comes with a flip chip.... Are people using that?

"Using the Flip Chip on the rear suspension linkage, you can change the bike’s geometry to suit your riding style and riding conditions within a matter of seconds. Head tube and seat tube angle adjustment: 0.5 degrees. Bottom bracket height adjustment: 8 mm."

Not sure what your other bike was or when it was made, but modern MTBs have lower BBs than in the past.

You can use that flip chip to raise or lower the BB, but it also makes other geo changes. Personally, I would set it for how the bike rides overall. I think most people get used to the lower BB and re-learn where their pedals are in relation to rocks and roots.
