Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Poor kitty, Fish and Wildlife had him on the run, had already put one tranq dart in him, then he jumped up to the sink to try to bail out the window but then they put another dart in him and the party was over.

Obvious solution.

A very minimal starter set without any special tools, no power tools,, and no test equipment.

This is my favorite special automotive tool. Had to do brakes on a Lincoln Mark VII LSC once.

They should modify a dropper post for the handlebars on those.

Working in a single line dealer helps to keep the tool bill down. Indie shop techs tend to spend a bit more. The minute I knew I was going to be OK at this gig, I sold all my scan tools.

The guy rides with a club I ride with occasionally and he goes into the local mountains on the thing. It seems like you couldn't put your hips into a turn like you can on a bike and you can't get low and you're never aero.

One screwdriver to rule them all...

They're both some of my favorite people but this changes the dynamic of our casual Tuesday ride. Late in the ride they can stay with fast guy and chat and not realize how hard the two of us are working on the little hills. It's weird, it's like 2 people I could ride with are suddenly a lot faster. Not sure exactly how I feel about the whole thing.
No bueno. I don't get the whole e bike thing, what's the point?

Looks like the Craftsman set. You will need to replace all of the ratchets. They absolutely suck. They are the same as the Stanley ratchets. A little metal plate with a spring on each side controls the direction detent. Add a little torque, it bends the plate. And then the switching mechanism falls out.
Absolute garbage.

That tool set hasn't changed in a very long time. When did "today" start?

Great for commuting.

Also, there's a group of olds around here that all ride Specialized Creos. Their various ailments would have ended their bike-riding lives, if not for e-bikes.

I have a bunch of Real Craftsman tools, including some ratchets, they work great. Haven't bought any of the Stanley era stuff. Probably won't.

Well, at least that answer rules out the bad thing I was thinking of. It’s really awful to hear about this ongoing issue and the lack of a diagnosis that makes sense. You may not be looking for advice, but if I have any to give, it would be to find a good neurologist. Some of them are genuine idiots, but they do tend to think more systematically, have a better anatomical understanding of problems involving the nerves, and do a vastly superior physical examination, relative to other specialties.

Ditto. My guess is they like to watch scenery go by, not fast like in a car but slow like on a bicycle.
