Hello from Los Angeles
Just discovered BF when searching for a review of a certain cycling bib. I was happy with the substance of the postings so decided to join this online community. I've only been road cycling for 2 years so I'm just at the end of being able to say that I'm "new" to cycling. I ride with the Pasadena Athletic Association (PAA) and two other clubs. I really enjoy the endurance rides and the climbing and the coffee stops! Looking forward to some engaging online discussions. Cheers. --Todd

We bike toured from Santa Barbara to Altadena, the week before last, taking the Surf-Liner train back from Glendale. I'd never visited that part of the world before and I was surprised at howuch I liked it. We did stay in Hollywood for one night and check that out. Well it's a tourist trap for sure, but I'm glad I saw it for myself. We mostly camped and did some routes in the Santa Monica Mountains and the weather curtailed our camp plans for the San Gabriels, but we did climb Mount Lowe by staying in a motel when it rained. Anyways, I could see there is a lot of great riding there. À

howdy! you're in an excellent area to crush flats, motor foothills and rue gravitational decisions to hit the high mountains. you've got it all within riding distance. enjoy!
