$3k Chico,CA / https://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/3310462/

This is my Serotta custom built road bike. It has the Old 7-11 cycling team paint scheme. It was built around the Colorado frame set that was one of Ben Serotta’s more popular frame designs.I was fitted for this frame at city cycle in San Francisco ca. About 1989
The frame is 72cm’s. So you will need to be 6’5” or taller for a comfortable fit.
The bike it’s self is in fantastic condition for its age. I was told it was made up of 7 different metals. It is a lite bike for its size. The bike handles like a dream.
It has been completely gone through. All new cables, chain, tires, tubes, handle bar tape. The build is Campy Chorus cranks, headset, bottom bracket. Everything else is Shimano Dura Ace. Wheel build is Campy Chorus hubs laced to mavic open 4cd pro rims with wheel smith spokes. I have tried to show its defaults in the pics.
Only reason I’m selling has to do with health issues. Other wise I would keep it and use it. But it has just been sitting in my garage collecting dust. It’s time to let someone younger enjoy American made craftsmanship. I will try to answer all questions the best I can. Asking price or best offer. Thanks for looking

FWIW, two of my friends worked for Masi California back in the mid-80s (Dave Tesch and Joe Starck), and they pronounced Masi as "Mazi."

How do you guys post facebook images now? I can't post links or images. Facebook is doing its best to go back to irrelevance again.

Not to mention that when I list a bike, they now limit videos to 1 minute or less. That's not enough time for an nerd like me to wax poetic about the bike .

72cm!! I am 6'04" and really doubt someone only an inch taller could ride this monster.

Some kind of Russian cycling team issue. It was a Massi "team" bike. Made by someone other than Massi. They also made an Olympic one.

I believe these were part of a limited production (100) produced in San Marcos. An Ekimov replica?
