21" Raleigh Super Tourist. Seems complete but for the Huret Jubilee derailleurs, seat and seat post and a wheel set.
It has a Shimano 500 rear derailleur that works with the Huret dropouts and a Suntour front and replacement seat and seat post.

Frame shows plenty of patina but generally very clean with minimal corrosion. At some point I will do a full photo shoot.

$300 with "local" pick up or delivery or a $50 delivery fee to drop off any where on the 95 corridor between DC and NY.
I'm only up to NY once a month so there's no expedited shipping service.

This is sort of a "special offer" which will be available till I order a Stronglight crank puller and break the bike down.
At that point I will offer the frame separate from the parts, and probably keep some bits... So act now!

I will also offer as Frame and Fork for $200+ shipping expenses.

P.S. It may bear mention, that this frame is very similar to the Raleigh Competition. Differences are no rear center pull brake cable bridge, and the chainstays are already indented for larger tires.

I'll have to check tomorrow. Raleigh lists the bike as a 21 1/2" frame. Top tube is 22 1/2" C-C, if that helps.

Looking for a project for a friend who is 5’2” so 21” was already pushing it, I think he’s going to need a proper 19” frame.

The bike is in an awkward spot, but it looks like its 21" C-T with an extra 1/2" sticking above for the clamp.

I know what the catalogue says, but I have seven 21-1/2" Raleigh/Carlton frames. That head tube is shorter than any of them. Looks more like the size of my wife's 20-1/2" 1974 International. Likely still not what your friend wants to hear, but, hey. "French Fit".

I'm pretty sure all the sizes use the same angles and top tube lengths. So if the seat tube is 2" shorter so is the head tube. I have a 23 1/2 Super Tourist frame and it "looks" right.

It's interesting that the bike depicted in the catalog appears to have a head tube that is the same length as the 22-1/2" Worksop made MK I Professional that I have, and notably shorter than the 23-1/2" Competition Mk II that I piked up for use as a "guest bike".

Wasn't meaning to question your measuring. I think the supposition that the geometry of all the models was identical may not be correct. I think the downtube on the Super Tourer may be a degree steeper than on the other higher-end models. That would make it "my size", but unfortunately, the timing is not fortuitous. If I had a couple of my lingerers sold off, I'd be wanting to fill this gap in my 70s collection.

I've questioned my measuring on this one. There are pictures of the "same" size frame from different years that show a little more head tube between the lugs. If you're interested in the bike, we can work something out, its not eating more than space where it is...

I find this topic very interesting, as I too have a few Raleighs in the 21 1/2" size, namely a Professional MkIV, an International, an RRA and a Super Tourer. I went out to the bike garage and measured all 4, all of which were very close to exactly 21 1/2" center to top. I then measured the top tubes - the Pro, International and RRA all went a bit north of 21 1/2", varying from about 21 3/4 to 22". The ST, however, was more like 22 1/2", a bit longer.

Also, it appeared to me that the down tube on the ST has a slightly different angle than the other frames, and thus appears to intersect higher on the head tube. So, it would make sense to me that even though you have a number of frames with the same size seat tube, if the top tube is stretched out, you're going to end up with a shorter head tube, all else equal, just from geometry. Add to that, the possibility that the down tube angle may be different, and that just changes the length of the head tube needed even more.

I also noticed this on my Motos. A lot of folks have observed the Grand Record and Grand Jubile for certain years seem to be the same frame - my '74 GR and my '74 GJ both feature 3 main tubes only in 531 butted, and they have the same faux Nervex lugs. However, I noticed as well that the GJ has a shorter head tube, owing mainly to the fact that it has a significantly longer top tube.

Both the ST and the GJ also have longer chain stays, as I think the original intent for these was to be more on the touring side than the corresponding International/Competion or the GR, respectively.
