Bikes: This list got too long: several ‘bents, an urban utility e-bike, and a dahon D7 that my daughter has absconded with.

Bicycle commuting is increasing infographic

I happened to come across this chart today. While it shows a reduction in commuting in owned cars, it shows an increase in bicycle and motorcycle commuting.

Car industry

Wow almost 90% commute by car. Talk about successfully lobbying to take over the transportation industry. They even bought up rails and shut them down. Firestone and car manufacturers. The deal with the devil. 🔥 burn petrol ⛽️...

The 10% drop in personal vehicle commuting should be seen as a good sign. Glass somewhat full. . .

Looks like it adds up to more than 100% Unemployment is up = commuting by auto is down.
An occasional ebike commute equals own bike commuting for some responders and another choice should have been tele-commuting.

IME, Car traffic which includes commuting, is up. I say this as someone who is commuting by car while I try healing some tendinosis.

Indeed, it looks like it adds up to 120 or so. I've been here on bf nearly ten years. If bike commuting had gone up the percentage noted every year as much as has been reported, no one would be driving anymore.

When it's reduced to percentage, WFH is not included. In 2023?

But in what world is unemployment up? From BLS
