The next Lazarus?

Cav will roll in 2024 with a sprintier Astana.

Nairo will be back with Movistar for another Dia Menos Pensado.

Who else is going to make a comeback? Or you wish they would?

I was going to say something about G's new multi-year contract but I could hear Eric Idle telling me "I can't take him, he's not dead yet." But let's not split hairs. Maybe G goes to the classics? Froome or Bernal doing anything would count as a comeback.

Yes #87!

Happy to see Nario back at movistar.

Outrageous what happened to Miguel - 'sus doping'!? I watched Nairo grab onto a dang moto then fail for tramadol yet now he's riding in the world tour again. Make a note miggylo - just keep riding.

There was an article on Wellens I saw yesterday - he was looking amazing last year early then had that broken collar bone. Really hoping to see how he goes.

Good for the Pocket Rocket. Perhaps he can make a dent in the TDU. MSR and Giro are on his calendar, too.

In other news, Julien Vermote was twiddling his thumbs for all of 2023 but is now the last man on the Jumbo / Lease a Bike roster, filling the spot hastily departed by Lennard Hofsteder. Not exactly a Kurt Warner bags to riches story (yet) but well salvaged.

Froomie has taken a different role in the team, I hear. Is he even riding at all in 2024?

Cav will need the right TdF stage, with a perfect leadout, and at least one crash to take out some younger sprinters to beat Eddy's record. If he can train up/stay safe to make the TdF team.

Geraint Thomas could win a couple of races, Guessing none with any climbing at altitude, and not a week-long.

Nairo may be good for a major stage win, maybe two (tho' highly, unimaginably unlikely). Is that a comeback?, or just persistence? Is Oscar 'Baby Face' Sevilla (~50yo) still riding in S. Am as a pro?

I think the year's biggest victories will come from super teams and the younger generation. (kinda ... DUH)

Following the Primoz Roĝlic story to see if Bora can boost his Grand Tour palmares.

Pulling for EF and any American. - especially the Colorado Kid Sepp Kuss.

The unpredictability of one day Classics keep me a follower there too.
