French Crank Day
Time for some French cranks. I have switched the fleet over to 172.5, so have some cranks to sell. I'd be interested in trades for 1975-79 Super Record cranks in 172.5. Otherwise paypal is king. Prices include shipping to US, Email if you need more details or pics jeirvine@gmail.com. Thanks.
1. Nervar Star crank. 175mm (rare length), 52/40, British threading, and unlike Stronglight/TA, these take a standard puller. BDC is 128 so inner rings can be hard to source. From a '73 Raleigh Gran Sport. I love these, and am only selling because I found some 172.5s after 5 years of looking. $38.
2. Nervar 631 crank. 170mm, 54/42, British threaded. Takes 50.4 BCD outers, so can take Stronglight, VO, TA or other rings, making it more versatile. Inner ring BCD 128, and has mystery smooth in-between ring to help shifting (?). These were stock on higher end 70's Schwinns like the Superior. $38. Sold.
3. Nervar rings. One for Star 53t, 128 BCD, one for 631 52t, 50.4/128 BCD. $16 each or $12 with cranks above.
4. Nervar Bottom bracket, 117mm, English threaded. For either above crank. Great shape. $17 with crank Sold..
5. TA Pro 5 Vis. 170mm, 52/40, 50.4 bcd. British pedal threads, (take TA extractor). With stickers to apply after you polish. These and the other French cranks here do polish up nicely, since they are not anodized. $45. Sold.
6. Lyotard Berthet MB23 pedals. British threaded. Nice shape. Can't remember if I greased these, but they spin nicely. $33. Sale Pending
7. Velo Orange cranks, 172.5mm, 50.4 BCD with 44t VO single ring. Arms are slightly different cosmetically - I think they are from different years, but unless you can see both sides of your bike at the same time, you'll never notice. $40.

Death fork? Naaaah!!
Third in line for the pedals if the other two don't take them.

I'm glad I'm too late to this party or I would have spent some coin.

And for those late to the French party, there are still some nice Italian delicacies over here.
