Optimal tubeless 28mm tire pressure?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So guys like November Dave are also wrong and should stick to what they know, too? Got it, thanks.

Interesting reading the entire thread.

I am 100kg, Orange Seal Sealant in 28mm Schwalbe Pro Ones on Enve AR 4.5 Disc and I run them at 65psi using the recommendations from Enve, been massive for me and I love my wheels and tyres.

When I let the tyres go softer I certainly notice it so have been very diligent at making sure I am 65 before starting a ride.

The point is that there is no free lunch. If there’s not enough pressure in the tire on a tubeless setup, by definition you can’t pinch flat, but bad things still happen.

So whether, you’re tuned or tubeless, there still needs to be enough air pressure to support the load and forces imposed. The precise math may change as to what is too low, but bad things still happen if the pressure is too low.
Are you certain of this?

The pinch-flat thing? It takes some work, but a determined few have managed to pinch-flat tubeless tires.

I've seen it happen so it's not an opinion. And your quote from earlier in the thread says it's possible as well, sooooo...

That it *can* happen doesn't mean that it's a thing that happens with any kind of regularity. Ghetto tubeless? Okay, maybe, but on tubeless rims with tubeless tires? Nah, chances are so slim that it's pure FUD to list it as a concern. So yeah - burping isn't really a thing with road tubeless.
