It's a daily road bike with super smooth shifting, clean, very light weight, and fast. I changed the seat and put a bikeroo seat cover for comfort.

The landlord has raised rent too high for any LBS to afford so it's an "eviction by figleaf".
I'm sure this block will be another highrise development as soon as the contractors wrap up their current one, just up/down the road.
The Missing Link had been in business for 49 years, but anonymous "market forces" have decided "that's enough you had a good run, nobody in this College town rides bicycles anymore..."

Ran across this looking for something else. Since there always seems to be someone looking for a high-quality large steel frame, here ya go:
Vintage Raleigh Carlton Super Course lugged Reynolds 531 frameset, 65cm
65cm measurement is seat tube BB center to top; listing indicates center/center measurement is 63cm. Serial number given in listing as "WM 8003235 // KH (these last two stamped over/near the factory serial #)." Listing also indicates ithe frameset includes "Raleigh-branded quill stem (100x22.2mm, made by SR), Raleigh threaded headset (VGC), front cable hanger (FRC -- rusty)."
Price for frameset is good. Shipping will be somewhat high-ish, but not outrageous for these days.
Auction closes 9:00PM EDT on Sun, 27 November 2022.
Vendor is a 501(c) in Burlington VT. I've done business with them a couple of times, but have no other connection with them.
Same vendor also has a small-ish (52cm top tube, seat tube 51cm/52.5cm, c-t-c/c-t-t) Cilo sport frameset (includes headset) in Tange 1; and a second Raleigh Carlton frameset (60cm) in 531, also for good prices. Those auctions also close at 9PM EDT on Sunday.

I'm certainly no expert on early Campagnolo derailleurs, but the asking price of $1,295 suggests it's a very early Gran Sport. The seller is tullio_s_quickrelease, a reputable Italian seller, so while the price is high, I suspect it's for good reason.
