CCRT anyone?
A bunch of us have been riding the Cape Cod Rail Trail every spring and fall for quite a few years. The fall ride is usually held over Columbus Day weekend. I don't see a thread on it so I'm making this one.
Sharon and I expect to ride our '82 Peugeot tandem as usual. The date will be Sunday as opposed to the usual Saturday. We meet at the Dennis trailhead at 10AM IIRC. The total distance is 44 miles round trip! It's great fun! It is not a competitive ride and we try not to ride too fast. Mostly we stick together, at least until we get near to the cars on the return. We hope to see a bunch of you there!
Here is a pic from the start of the spring ride, all of us looking fierce and ready take on the world.:-)
This year we will probably be struggling. Our band has a concert on Saturday, and we will have just returned form 2 weeks in Maine.

Columbus Day Weekend CCRT Ride — YES !!!
Hey Jim,
If there’s enough interest to proceed, you can count me in for the ride. I was on the lower half of that same trail last week and had a fine day of it.
My (free to me) ‘85 Cannondale touring bike is finally all sorted, so I’ll probably be riding that.
Looking forward to seeing you next month.
