Shimano SL-64 barcons with 7700 DuraACE Long cage and 8 speed compatibility?

Will this work?

Does anyone have a 7700 Dura Ace long cage rear derailleur they'd like to sell?

Thanks.

Yes, it should work.

No, not at this time.

Should say right on the shifter.
I think two of those models actually listed the RD they'd work with, right on the shifter.
Courteous of them to do so.

7700GS? Not for sale. I need more. Several more.

It might have said at one point but these are old and the sticker is long gone. I think I do recall that sticker on my '98 520 back in the day...

Yes, those derailleurs are quite scarce and desirable. Thought I'd just give it a try, haha!

7700 was the first Dura-Ace series designed with the same cable pull ratios as other Shimano indexed derailleurs. Consequently, it should work with the SL-BS64-8 bar end controls and 8 speed cassettes.

I picked up a 7803 GS in the sales forum... for not a lot of money.
