Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There are tons of people in the world who only produce bad ideas. Many have high official positions. This explains our current situation.

We have a "Red Robin" burger bar for lunch. They included some Impossible Burgers (tm) for me.

Well, if anybody was going to be "that guy" it would be you.

Now I predict Doug will rip you a new one over this . . . . I don't even need to tag him.

I didn't vote. I paired off with someone to whose opinions mine are diametrically opposed and we agreed to annihilate each other.

You're supposed to make that agreement and *then* vote.

What, AGAIN?

(Already voted > a week ago. Mrs. GeneJockey dropped the ballots off at the county election office, just to make sure)

Apparently everybody (here) had the same idea, vote early and avoid the BS.

We had a glorious ride today, 72º at the finish. My wife wanted 50 miles, I wanted 35-40, and the other slackers wanted 20 so we did 23 miles.

The factory made a mistake on the three arch-tops for the living room windows. Not the complicated part; no, they made the lower sashes an inch too short. They'll be sealed with foam for the meantime until the factory can get us new sashes. Sigh.
