Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

In your opinion whats the best looking helmet?

Simple, What helmet (going off of shape, not color or design) do you think looks the best? Show a picture

I love the specialized prevail. I have last yeas S-works which is pretty similar but would love to get an s-works prevail.

So the Lazer Genesis (the one I have).

Or the Bontrager Oracle (the one I want if it ever comes out).

The specialized helmets look like they would be really good at sucking bees in.

They do. A guy I ride with is always complaining about how many bugs hit his head through the holes during rides. He has an Sworks helmet.

I have a specialized decibel. It's no longer in production and I'm not sure how much protection it provides, because it has a boatload of ventilation.

I don't think it is necessarily the best looking, but only specialized helmets fit my long oval head and it was cheap on closeout.

I think the new S3 looks better than the Prevail.

What's next? Favorite limit screws or chainring bolt?

Although I want a Prevail but not for the price they are asking.

None. Although I try to avoid looking like a Super Mario Bros. mushroom, I don't consider my helmet to be a fashion statement.

No more than any other. Most often, they go straight out the back. Best cooling helmet I have ever worn.

I have the Prevail after cracking an S-Works. The S-Works was a better helmet in terms of ventilation. The only thing I didn't like about the S-Works was that the pads wore out really quickly.

All helmets make one look dorkier, which is hard to imagine possible, with all the colorful lycra going on already.

Bell Meteor II ... the black and red edition without the obnoxious bell stickers.
Hey ... what a coincidence ... that's my helmet!

very distinct, great ventilation, and apparently as aerodynamic as the prevail (https://www.bikerumor.com/wp-content/...le-helmet6.jpg)
