What's going on in here?
I somehow managed to get a rib injury. I have a sneaking suspicion it was when the GF's kid and I were roughhousing and he tackled me. Sleeping is uncomfortable in every single position and I wake up feeling like I was hit by a truck every morning. It's pretty awesome. 10/10 I'd recommend.

Oh, on a positive note: the girlfriend and I are closing on a house next month! A nice 4 bed 2 bath split entry in a quiet neighborhood 20ish minutes from downtown St Paul or Minneapolis.

Boats > bicycles > motorcycles. Sorry, that's just the way it is.

Another 46° day in corn country. If someone said that I’d have 5 rides in already in January in 45-55° temps, I’d never believe it.
But... mid 20s coming tomorrow and snow Friday night. Oh, well, my mtb and snow blower want to play, too.

43 here this morning at dawn. I'm so glad I rediscovered that I can, in fact, enjoy chilly rides outside. I'd reached a sad point where if it required leg warmers (below ~55) I'd either get on Zwift or not ride at all. Over the last few weeks I've had nice rides down to about 35. I HTFU'd a little. Not a lot, still won't ride if there's any ice anywhere within 10 miles of my house.

I saw a runner today (46º) in shorts and t-shirt with winter gloves.

Of the three testing yesterday, one went 19 minutes, one lasted 20 minutes, and one completed 21 minutes. The first one went a little bit backwards on FTP and the other two booted their FTP scores.

It was like a skating rink here this morning.
