And datlas said there's no point in taking vitamins.

There is no evidence that giving sick people vitamin D improves much of anything.
However, it’s possible this study may change what I wrote if it’s accurate.

Not wrong. But the cause/effect of low Vitamin D on overall health has not been worked out. It's quite a fad. So many of my patients want to get tested for Vitamin D level along with their thyroid and cholesterol etc., I try to discourage it but for customer satisfaction I will order it when they insist.

But you don't think vitamin D helps. Sad.

I think Velo Vol needs to give his .sig a massive dose of some vitamins. It's quite puny as of now. Sad.

Don't break them. If they really are weak there are lots of fun treatments like fosamax or prolia. Your witch doctor can hook you up. Luckily because of your male gender you are at lower risk than the wimmenz.

Fun day today, three + hours in the saddle on the new bike. Noticed I didn’t seem to have any legs though. Came home, showered, and had some water. Have terrible chills and a 99.9 temp on the temporal thermometer. Started puking as well.
Now I’m sitting in an urgent care waiting to be seen. The my daughters’ stepdad was exposed to COVID at work on the 3rd and found out last night. They had a number of days exposed to him, and were then here from Wednesday to last night. Ugh.

Probably just perspective. In one of the pics you can see the Adirondack High Peaks, you could make them out much more clearly with the naked eye, it was an awesome view.
I had a great time on the muddy dirt roads. Tried riding some snowmobile path too but the snow wasn’t packed enough and I bit it.

Did a fun ride with 7 others, only 40 miles but with a 9 mile climb and some smaller climbs. When we got to the top of the last climb the wife of one of the riders was there with a truck loaded with snacks, water, and Gatorade. Turns out it is his birthday and he didn't know she was going to be there. She had enough stuff for at least 25 people, including 3 cheesecakes.
We sang Happy Birthday even though he asked us not to, and I had a lovely slice of cheesecake with strawberries and blueberries on top. Very unexpected.

Nope. Warm, dry smooth roads are where it's at.
I'm listening to a podcast with an immunologist and she talks about how eating is an inflammatory process. My hunger strike seems even smarter now than it did yesterday.

Spent a happy couple of hours taking the Cannondale apart, at least as much as I could. The cranks aren't self-extracting and I'd need a special tool for the BB. Once the RX100 crank and BB arrive, I'll take it to my LBS to have them swap them in, then start rebuilding.
