Indeed the nishiki has many similarities but only some years have matching lugs. Tubing seems to vary with year. It too gets praise from those that have had them.

Two flavors

There are the old levers with a bad rap.

And there are modern interrupter levers that are nearly as positive as typical levers. Install the latter if you like the flexibility of position.

Any dual head pump will allow you to inflate balls with a needle that is inserted in the Schroeder fitting. Any presta head can be switched (invert rubber washers) but that takes a minute or two.
