Calfee custom Adventure tandem. 700c wheels for road. 650b’s up to 50 mm for gravel.

Evenings are really closing in now reducing time for longer spins so done some local trails this evening instead.
Looking through the thread there seems to be all sorts of bikes, not just cycle cross or gravel bikes so this is mine.
CUBE call it a fitness bike, other manufacturers call it a hybrid (whatever that is) but it's running on knobbly 40mm schwables and geometry is very similar to a relaxed gravel bike (apart from flat bars obvs) so I use it similarly.
Mudguards on as it's a wet week and I had to commute a little, and lights as I won't be home before sunset but I rather the bike looking minimal without either.

Just looks like it was designed with a larger tube for extra rigidity to me. Klein-style, if that is better. I really like the look of it - the entire bike.

Im curious if they add it on even if a head tube length is requested, versus just spec'ing a longer head tube to begin with.
I know nearly nothing about titanium, so if you asked for that head tube length to begin with and they built it with that extension, then I presume they have to do that for some reason.
This isnt critical, its really just coming from me being interested and wanting to know more.

That's great to hear!!! Your the first person here in the forums that I have seen with a Handsome bike!! I'm very impressed with their business style and I like the idea of supporting a growing small business like theirs. I'm probably going to get one in the Spring and I've been debating on which one to get, the single speed, 3 speed or the 8 speed ones. Such a hard decision.

Was this frame new from LS? If so, did you initially ask for the extension or was it added on after the fact?
Im curious if they add it on even if a head tube length is requested, versus just spec'ing a longer head tube to begin with.

I wanted to go with a stock size Litespeed frame. I am 6'4" and run FSA plasma bars on my road rigs so I could not just flip my stem to get the rise I prefer.
The Ti insert (purchased separately from LS) was a way to raise my bars and not have 2 cm of carbon spacers. Purely aesthetics.
I wanted my gravel rig to match my T1SLs. I have not put the spacer in my disc T1 yet...don't like bleeding the brakes, but you can see the carbon spacers.
To me, it just looks cleaner.
As a side note; It did take some cranking on my headset press to seat the insert (with some green Loctite). Next time I'm using big washers, threaded rod and a big ass combo wrench.

Digging this! Looks like a drop bar MTB.
Recently tried the 27.5x2.2 Conti SpeedKing Racesport, for mild gravel and sand across flatter gradients and sealed roads. Running tubeless in the back with an S-Tubo up front, as these tyres aren't tubeless from what I understand. Very fast for a 650b (faster than the extralight ReneHerse 48mm slick. Plus, I prefer the larger tyre height/rolling diameter, over those).
