No thanks. It will be an adventure enough to get to Anaheim. We will take a public bus to downtown LA then a commuter train to Anaheim. For the return there is no commuter rail (they only run during commuter hours) so we will take an Amtrak train to Union Station in LA and then a bus back to our place.
We could consider an Uber but the cost would be easily twice as high and mrs datlas is thriftier than I am.

Maybe during the 4.5 hours of downtime you can ask Mrs. datlas , as an artist, what she thinks of the king's new portrait.

Lifted car of the day. Gotta love seeing a Mark VII on the trails. Hopefully it's the LSC with the big 5.0

I spent the morning in the city yesterday, shopping, walking a good bit. My phone recorded 47 steps.
Edit:
correction. That was 47 steps today. 8,xxx yesterday.

The light rail was an option to the Rockies games, and made a lot of sense, since Coors Field is downtown. They've cut back on the scheduled runs, and ne'er do wells on the trains, pretty much nixed that. Plus, the Rockies suck.

It’s raining. Again. Got the car back yesterday. Going to take care of some errands, like shopping and taking the road bike wheels for tubeless remounts. It’s been literally collecting dust since late 2022. The guys at the shop probably forgot about me a long time ago.
Hope the weather improves for the Ride of Silence this evening.

Who’s that tall sourpuss on the right end? Must be hungry or tired or something.
