Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We could consider an Uber but the cost would be easily twice as high and mrs datlas is thriftier than I am.
Matinee game here tomorrow, so if you get up early...

If the seats are reasonably comfortable you should be able to get a solid pre-jet lag nap in to help acclimate yourself back to proper time.

Maybe during the 4.5 hours of downtime you can ask Mrs. datlas , as an artist, what she thinks of the king's new portrait.

Surely #s 1 - 299 can cover its route.

Speaking of #1, I swear I saw #1 in Vancouver once but no sign of it in the roster, the only sold/retired P42s are in the hundreds.

Maybe I was in another dimension...

Lifted car of the day. Gotta love seeing a Mark VII on the trails. Hopefully it's the LSC with the big 5.0

I spent the morning in the city yesterday, shopping, walking a good bit. My phone recorded 47 steps.
Edit:

The light rail was an option to the Rockies games, and made a lot of sense, since Coors Field is downtown. They've cut back on the scheduled runs, and ne'er do wells on the trains, pretty much nixed that. Plus, the Rockies suck.

It’s raining. Again. Got the car back yesterday. Going to take care of some errands, like shopping and taking the road bike wheels for tubeless remounts. It’s been literally collecting dust since late 2022. The guys at the shop probably forgot about me a long time ago.

Hope the weather improves for the Ride of Silence this evening.

That thing got lockers?

Also, I don't see any recovery points.

Oops, the game today is not Pirates vs Angels (I was misinformed), it’s Cardinals vs Angels. Not that it matters much to me, but I want to set the record straight.

Wasn't too bad but wasn't easy, either. With that group I just drop back and grind. Although the guy on the left has had heart issues since then and has had to go "e" and do shorter rides

That's simply horrible. However, I do love roof baskets and I am trying to get my daughter to put one on the roof of her Hyundai Kona...with floodlights.
