I'm a little shorter than you with a saddle height of 724mm, so 15cm drop is a hell of a lot for me LOL

The link should work. You can spin the view and see the trail below.
Thanks for all the pics. I enjoy seeing all the points of interest that you capture.

Is that a Fiat 500 Sheriff car? LOL it's tiny.

Yeah, its a little Fiat. I think it has 54/10 gearing.

Don't let it fool you. He has cameras, laptop and a shotgun mounted in there. Unfortunately there have been some incidents on the trail in the past and so they put up cameras at some of the more popular spots and retired the quad racer in favor of a tricked out Fiat with air conditioning.

Rode past the geodesic dome house today. Locals say it is super nice inside.

Also saw this sign. Fixie skid stop?

What a twist, I was sure that it was going to be the crazy speed wobbles that did him in.

My goodness it's nice in them hills. I love that central cal landscape of the rolling green, oaked hills. Reminds me of exploring Alum Rock park as a kid when visiting family in San Jo.

Yeah that second photo is at the top of Sierra road. 3.5 miles, 1788 ft, 9.5% average, with kickers in there that go to around 18%. It's a pretty hard climb, but the view at the top is really nice.

I did that, and then went over to alum rock Park to get some water, and then went up Hamilton. Except for the bonk at the top of Hamilton, it was pretty nice. Finally regaining cornering confidence.

Winter has made a comeback up here lately. In April. It's absurd.

Best chance I have for a good ride is Sunday- supposed to be 1 degree Celsius.
