The bike is gone now. I've been stocking shelves in the back room and didn't get to see who rode away on it. Dammit! I bet he was a true Superhero.

I've been out of bikes for 10+ years and recently got back into it.
I know Thomson stuff is nice and everything is threadless....but every time I see a fat threadless stem on a beautiful slim track bike, it just kills it. Yeah, quill stems are old/flexy/PITA....but it's crazy how a simple 70 degree-ish quill (or even a 2A/Jaguar) just makes a bike look sooooo much sexier.
My old 80's Ciocc was a flexible flyer with a Cinelli quill stem but I loved looking down on that during long rides....a quill stem just looks so much better from every angle (down, side, etc..)
Yeah, I'm on the rocking chair yelling at the whippersnappers but I can't help it.

Needs more Jackasshattery...maybe a cable replacing the downtube aka Slingshot MTB and a Softride type seat post suspension/extension.
Do love the handlebar setup...it's like someone photoshopped out some track drops.
EDIT: The more I stare at that photo, the more I become irritated.

Speaking of jackass....
Yep, this was me today. I made it about a mile before I saw an inverted helmet in the mirror and was like, "oh shet!" Those are my gloves in the helmet too.

BAMF Bike Co.
this page
"BAMF stands for exactly what you think it does. BAMF doesn’t roll like those pretty boys with matching lycra kits and expensive power meters. If you ride a bike, and we mean really ride a bike, you know the cold burn on your face in the dead of winter, the sound of a body hitting the ground and the taste of a warm beer in the morning. You don’t ride so you can shave your legs and drive around town with a bike on the rack hoping to be seen…You hunt those types down and smirk as you rip past leaving them and their GPS and sunblock keychain wondering what the hell happened?
All the BAMF bikes are black (like the guys at BAMF are going to fight over color pallets) and come with minimal decal and a killer 4 color (gold, white, purple and blue) sticker kit for you to create the look you want. Put the stickers on the bike, a cop car or your friend’s back. They take bikes seriously…like tattoos. They don’t want you to show up and see the exact same machine as some poser. BAMF wants you to make it your own. Bikes are a permanent fixture in their life and they pour that passion into their work. The Piledriver is a serious bike as you can tell from the name. It will turn your world upside-down."

From the BAMF link:
"BAMF’s foundation is solid steel chromoly creation with a 120mm track rear end"
"Frame

(and I'll just ignore the "we're not catering to posers, reaaaaaaally" marketing trash )
