eBay / CraigsList finds - "Are you looking for one of these!?" Part II
Senior Member
Yep that's mine, I hope the price is too high. I promised my wife I would n-1 since we moved to a smaller home. I picked a couple bikes and listed them with a high price. As long as they are "for sale" she's happy. Nobody here buy em!

RE: 48x50 Clonago
Maybe too small for you perhaps, just happens to be my size, won't bring the same money as a more common size but you never know how desperate someone is. Good thing I already picked up one in that size that needs a bit of work so can't be tempted. It would be interesting to see what it looked like before restoration. Probably too perfect to ride & what's the fun in that.

Just posting this because it's not something you see every day. Way out of my budget and riding style.

Gorgeous bicycle. The size math is borked though, says, " 22" frame (52.5cm center to center). " which makes no sense. 22 inches is roughly 56 cm frame.
Anyway, possible decent Bianchi here:

The ad says medium height. I can't go bigger than a 56cm and this looks more like a 58cm. Anybody familair with the geometry on these?

Was happy to see that it so original. Mostly when they come up they have been lightly to heavily altered.
Machine in advert looks quite different because it was a pre-production mock-up. There may have been none released for sale which looked exactly like it.

I had a Super Record Export and I would describe the handling as a bit "twitchy" which is fine if you want to pay close attention on a fast descent. It was a very fun bike. FWIW I sold the F/F/Campagnolo headset for more than the whole bike mentioned here. The parts build is a bit funky perhaps and it has sew ups but if I thought it might fit me I would get in the car and go look at it.

Saw this on Letgo. I'd never heard of Clark-Kent bikes before, but it was fairly well appointed, so I looked it up. Way too small for me. Kinda strange seat lug area. Maybe it's one of their Ti models?

The seller has a second active listing for the same bike:

A couple Craigslist-quality photos as well:

And, I stumbled upon a 1960 Schwinn Continental on eBay. Ideale saddle, suicide lever front derailleur, Cyclo(?) rear derailleur. Price (and shipping) seem pretty high to me, but I don't know these old Continentals at all, so perhaps it's in the right ballpark. Looks like it could use a front rim before being ready-to-ride. Maybe adjust the brakes too.
