Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

damn Bah Humbug you beat me to it.

and the bike is a Felt DA2. If that's what you meant by B16. It's an ancient model but I have some nice upgrades on it, 1x 54t chainring, sram red etap 11, modern bars with stackable spacers and a 15 degree tilt adapter. Eventually I want a new frame with a cleaner front end to save a few watts, something compatible w rim brake, I'm thinking a Giant Trinity. My position is pretty good (for TT) and my power will likely never get better so its just marginal gains. Already have the disc wheel, skinsuit, helmet etc.

It was 60 degrees here when I arrived home today. So I had the chance to give Contador a good shake down. 21 miles. That bike just gets better and better. I pulled out the scale when I got home, 6.65kg that's 14.5 ish lbs . No seat bag or pump. But with cages and pedals. Computer mounts and sensors. I'm pretty happy with that. That was also the final function of my fish scale it has succumbed to the Green Death. It was so old I actually bought it at KMart.
