Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don’t race and typically won’t go bigger than 28 tires anyway, so I’m not sure what my hang up is all things considered. I would like to be confident that i can hit a small pebble and not get it wedged in between the fork and tire.

I love the Time frame with the clear coat, it’s amazing looking.

Same. Rye, in my case, and cab. The latter is usually with dinner, though I try to stretch it out a bit (so as to avoid the temptation of a second rye).

Sunday 3x10' again.

Both outside ride out at Z1-barely Z2 if at all. Ride back at SS

Starting your week with a leg-drainer is tough, and that's exactly what a 3x15' is. Especially if it's FTP, as a Z4 ride can certainly be under FTP, and it's still painful.

Remember, if you're training, and training for something, the end goal of your training is to train better.

My thought process if I did this day 4 I wouldn’t be able to finish.

Just test rode the super caliber. Had the Sram transmission, well the one I posted yesterday. It was nice, but I really don’t know how a MTB should feel. Almost felt too small, but according to the trek website a Large is the correct size.

Bike racing is hard, bike training is harder.

FWIW, my Procaliber is a M/L. A friend of mine had a M Supercaliber (same TT length as M/L Procal), and it fit me fine, too. You're a bit taller than me (5'-9", 32" pants inseam). More so than any other type of bike, I find a smaller frame to be a plus on a MTB. Space to let the bike move around under you is a good thing.

Ultimately the aroma drove me to crawl into the shower and, to my dismay, see the bulk of the floor area puddled brown. Everything in that puddle got washed. Should I was it again (we only have cold water)? I will spare you the rest, but there is more. I write this missive from my wife’s throne, three Pepto bismol tablets tablets in me. Hoping they are able to do their work reasonably quickly.
Wow!! Hope you get a handle on that.

I drink hardly any alcohol ever. If my friend has some scotch when I visit, I’ll have one or two. A beer once in a blue moon. Never been a fan of wine. Mind, it hasn’t always been so.
