2 San Marco Rolls and 2 Selle Italia Trimatic. Tried a Flite and a TransAm, but Rolls are the best for me, even after 12hrs on the saddle.

Brompton got a Batch of Fizik Vitesse, saddles made up, with a different rail bend, for more clearance
and a Black Cover. I have several of those..
Wet climate, here so the well seasoned Brooks Team Pro is off the Touring bike in the basement,
So it wont grow mushrooms..

B17 I could feel an improvment the first time I rode. Got less than a 1000 on it now so still breaking in and I think it will get even better.

I just switched from a couple of Brooks saddles to a Selle Italia SLR. I was having some hip and lower back problems and I think the width of the Brooks caused me to position my legs out a little. Anyway, I was concerned that I'd have some perineal pain, but I don't and the SLR is overall better--for the time being. It's been my experience that I'm OK for a few months with a saddle but then a change to another gives me some relief for a while. I've been switching back and forth between a Brooks B17 and a Brooks Cambium. Could be I end up switching among these three.

I had never had a proper saddle fitting until a couple weeks ago with my new bike fitting. My sit bones were way different than the stock saddle- so they put on a 155mm Specialized Milano saddle that has a touch of gel too.
What a difference- I had been riding to narrow a saddle forever- get your sit bones measured.
Its a pressure plate you sit on and it instantly maps your anatomy and pressure points there- big help.

After trying several saddles I've found the Specialized Body Geometry saddles seem to fit me. I have three models: a Phenom on the Colnago, a Romin on the Ciocc (much more stretched out riding position) and a Toupe on the around-town Batavus. To be honest I'm not crazy about the Toupe, but it was cheap.
I have a couple of B17 and B17N, meh.
An old WTB, cost like $12 and is a great saddle and a few Avocets that work fine.
I do not use padded shorts. I do sometimes wear a lightly padded liner. So my saddles must be comfortable.
