I haven't been climbing much in zwift, I have resolved to do more. The one time I tried Ventoux, I wasn't actually expecting to climb it, so it was a lot harder than what I expected or wanted. Have to try it again knowing it's going to suck.

Or you do what I did one crazy night last month - do the Reverse KOM (which is harder, BTW!) all the way to the arch, then turn around and ride back to the turn off for the Radio Tower, and do that. I don't know what I was thinking, because the Reverse KOM doesn't have any of those little flat bits the forward version has and I was tired already.

i've only ridden that hill in france twice so i don't have a very good memory of it but i do recall it being much steeper in sections but also much flatter in others compared to the alpe. maybe i am remembering wrong and i need to climb it again.
the alpe is easier in my opinion. i happen to like the added info on the ride. what is missing is previous times/powers/hr.
