This may be just wrong and bit of topic but that sucker reminds of the "Human Centepide" movie just very wrong and a bit disturbing to see.

Unique and Prestigeous 1961-1966 Campagnolo Record Vintage[/h]
Probably the most prestigeous urban bicycle you have ever seen.
Manufactured between 1961 and 1966, Campagnolo Record set, handmade brazed frame.
Campagnolo used this logo until 1966.
This model of brakes came out in 1961. That time Campagnolo did not manufacture brakes yet. Universal was one of the biggest competition range brake manufacturers, and this is their only center-pull model.

The whole bike is in perfect condition, disassembled and greased till the last screw. Wear is minimal.

I've actually seen worse here in PWT-land. The local populace is not only challenged in knowledge, but, continually display lack of common sense, perspective, and worse of all, courtesy toward others!!! I'm certainly not pleased with the "loser factor" in this town...

I like to refer to it as Spokan't.

I had called and was on the phone with the seller, and his other line rang. He kept me on the line while he talked to the other caller over speaker phone, and the other call was another buyer who made an offer for it which he then accepted. While I was waiting. That was a first for me.

I already have one, but really wanted a matching pair of Prologues.

Ok so this seller considers viseable bad rusted chain and flat rotted tires a 9.9 conditon wise. Just anyone bike knowledge or not can see these issues even from the soso pics.

Wait. "Rust and rot" is more than a 0.1 point deduction? And doesn't the awesome period-correct bag count for anything?

I would not be surprised if the "sister" story is a lie. That seller considers himself a vintage MTB collector and has been daily top-posting garbage all-caps ads on Portland CL for years.

If you are going to ask a crazy high price for a tired UO8, you might as well make up a model name.

At least seller didn't call it a PX10.

Vintage Peugeot Road Bike 1972 Juilet Model - $500 (Belton)

This is a vintage model of a Peugeot Road bike from the 1970s. I believe its the Juillet 1972 Model.

The bike is in good condition. It is in its original state with everything original even the rubber tires. I'd also like to note that bike was not used much maybe a few hours at most. It has been hanging in my garage so it does need some minor maintenance. The original tubing is showing small cracks and there are some tarnish spots that can probably be removed if someone cared. The bicycle also has the original air pump attached to the frame and original catalog that came with the original purchase of the bike. I've haven't driven the bike but the gears look to be shifting and show barely any wear.

A rare find indeed especially in this state.

That's actually considered "high class" in this backwards collection of nincompoops that calls itself a "city". Pathetic...

Going back to the 5-person tandem human bike-opede for a moment, it just occurred to me:
There's only one set of handlebars.

It could be this guy got a couple of bikes at a super after Christmas sale dirt cheap and now is trying to make a few bucks, but I don't think so. Somehow it feels legit (check how they're set up), in which case this is a hilariously tragic tale of bike buying gone wrong. Poor guy.

Novara Verita Steel Road Bike Medium Size - $600 (SE Portland)

This bike was used for about 20 miles, and was a bit too small for me. I had knee surgery and no longer need the bike. The bike looks new and is a fantastic bike for commutes or long rides.

Please email for a quick response. SE meetup.

CASH ONLY, NO TRADES.

Okay. That's the opener. But where's the punchline?
Wait for it ...

Novara Verita Steel-Frame Road Bike - XL Frame - $600 (SE Portland)

I used this bike for under 100 miles, and it looks brand new. This is the XL frame, designed for riders 6" to 6'3". It is a little bit too big for me. The bike was 1200 when I purchased it, and I'm firm on the 750 price because of that, I bought it 6 months ago and have just decided to sell it after taking it for a short ride last week.

Please email for a quick response. SE meetup.

CASH ONLY, NO TRADES.

... . . . . .

That's what I thought too when I first saw it but there are bars for all but stoker #1 , they all appear to be flat bars except the primary and one other. It's just real hard to see them due to the angle and the stylin' "rat rod" black paint job. I hope none of the bikes sacrificed for that were anything decent, I keep telling myself they were all Magnas and Roadmasters.
