Ultegra 9-speed triple. The STI levers need service or replacement. Control Tech Stem. Richey SPD pedals. This fine Italian handmade frame and fork alone is worth the price of admission. I have an original Raleigh International, my father bought this
new in fayetteville at scott's in the fall of 1972, and rode it for about 3 years
i was the last person to ride it in 1984 and dismantled the wheels
due to spoke and rim fatigue and replaced the Weinmann center pull
calipers with nos Mafac Competition but decided to just hang the bike
on the wall for the last 30 years and took up smoking because it
was safer.
the frame is about 54cm and is hand made with reynolds 531 tubing with beautiful cut
and filed lug work and campy dropouts, bike is all original except
for the calipers and the seat, original dated 72" campagnolo components
including the seatpost and large flange hubs, i have extra parts to go with it
dated campy 72" rear derailleur, campy pump clips and nos campy bottom cable guide.

My point was that if you had an unused anvil (or a corgi) sitting around gathering dust, (or fleas), apparently it is the stock to trade for an "Ikea" International? It's either that, or the offer to barter is a clear sign, (using humour), that the seller is willing to negotiate and finds the prices silly too?
