Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

HOT, This dude's got taste. For ****'s sake don't take the ZIPP seals off, as it will only detract from it's perfect form and look like you are trying to be a wannabe.
I remember back in the eighty's people used to de-badge their 3 series BMWs hoping people would think they were driving M3s. When people "de-badge" their carbon wheels, it reminds me of this. Keep them on and be proud.

IMO it would move from hot to surface of the sun if you had it painted and ditched the Cervelo toptube graphics and left only an outline Cervelo on the downtube.... and maybe an outline e thing here and there.

Hot bike.

It's coming along. You should take a pic from the front once the new stem is on, for addiction, as it would be nice to see how they look together.

I believe that's an old picture. I like the latter one more, the less logos plastered on the bike, the more I like. I don't feel like I need to let other people know what I'm riding.

Black gloss paint with a carbon reveal Cervelo logo would be pretty stealth in person but would detract from the photo montage.

The R5ca matte black with gloss logos is pretty sick in person. Too bad the finish scratches easily and wears from handling it. I almost shelled out $800 to get that done.

I race the bike. The old stickers got effed up when some moron cut me off, and chopped my front wheel. Resulting in a broken collarbone, and frame. The stickers were effed so I stripped them, and then eventually put the new "Beyond Black" ones on.

Just to be contrary, White paint with carbon reveal logo to match the Scapula F.

Hot bike.
I have a photochop I'm working on like that. The whole bike will basically need painted to make it work. The logos outlines need to be silver to match the Zipps, or it doesn't work. I really want to switch to a THM Scapula F fork with integrated brake eventually, and it has silver logos, so it would match too hopefully. Hottubes quoted me $1000 to strip my old bike down to raw carbon, redo the downtube logo, and clear the whole frame. I may end up doing that. It might save a few grams too.

So you are going to build the bike around a sticker that you have already replaced once? Architects everywhere applaud your need for constant rebuiding.

I have a couple extras of the Zipp stickers too, just in case I crash.

Need to take pics from more angles to show off the Vuka's.

Most recent cycling related purchase thread has a couple. Only BF approved white garage door photos can be posted in this thread.

Sophistry - A subtle, tricky, superficially plausible, but generally fallacious method of reasoning.
