Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Between GRRM's glacial writing pace and the drop-off in quality of the TV show (the year plus hiatus doesn't help, either), I've become completely 'meh' on all things Ice and Fire.

I must have inhaled a gallon of acetone fumes getting the old glue off one of the HED wheels yesterday.

This morning I'll put the garage door up to attack the other wheel.

Also, harbor freight latex gloves disintegrate quickly

You need a vulcanized rubber glove to withstand a solvent like that. Also I wouldn't be surprised to learn that vegetable oil is a pretty good solvent for tubular tire glue. I’m not saying it is for sure, just that I would give it a try. Then you could use just a little acetone to clean up the oil.

I only started watching GoT this past February, and I've never read the books. I can kind of tell that there's been a drop in the story quality in the last season, but it's not enough to bother me. In that, I consider myself lucky; but the year-long wait for the last season is still really frustrating.
I would have pegged @Bah Humbug more as a Baratheon- what with all the rowing and running Gendry has to do .

If aluminum rims, I just put a wire wheel bit in the drill and go to town on that olde glue.

To me, the five books stand alone in purity and quality, and the show is an amusing non-canon diversion of variable quality. Martin has just essentially given up on the book series to work on other projects, and any further installments are likely to be polluted by the desires of the TV producers.

Besides, it would be more than a little pretentious to use my own family crest.

The books became gradually tedious and disjointed as they progressed, IMHO

Current Shortages:
Fentanyl injectable - None to be found. Use it carefully. We only have ~5 - 50ml vials (comes in boxes of 25 x 2 ml ampules)
Hydromorphone - None to be found. Only a few 25ml boxes left.
Methadone- I am finding some. Very difficult.
Bupivacaine/Marcaine 0.5% - NONE
Bupivacaine/Marcaine 0.25% preservative free - Found some. Very difficult. We'll have to use this for the bupivacaine epidurals instead of the 0.5%.
Erythromycin injectable - None. Maybe 2019 ????
Gentacin ophthalmic ointment - none but I can find the drops
Methocarbamol 500mg tablets - Huge shortage but I found some lurking in Illinois. I could only order 2 months worth.
Vetoryl 5mg - Also found some but I only have 2 months worth.
I have not had that problem to any substantial degree.
