Dura Ace 25th comes with the pre-flightdeck STI levers, which are a little thinner, a little shorter, and a lot more awesome. If money were no object I'd replace my well worn early 7700 with this in a second.

TLCFORBIKES- You might want to let the curious onlookers know the spoke hole count as well.

I believe that Shimano only offered 32 hole hubs. If you did not get the other important information here they are: Crank - 172.5 53/39 BB - English Cassette - 12-23 Headset - English thread/sealed bearing.

A bikeshop here in Gouda (Holland) still has one for sale.

I'd rather have a 20th anniversary group. 9 speed is too new.

With luck, this group will end up in BF C&V hands. I'd hate to see it outside the fambly.

This group's going on a being-built Jack Taylor road frame. My plan is an all-steel rig, slightly oversize tubes, and in British racing green with brushed stainless lugs. This one's a long way off, probably not going together for at least a year or more. The parts will all be put into storage with the rest of my life until I at least get back from here.

Thanks Robbie T, for posting this set and bringing it to the C&V family.

Although I think I will enjoy installing this set as much as riding it... I am going to ride the sh*t out of that bike. Life is too short to let bikes sit and look pretty. Great books need to be read, classic bicycles and motorcycles need to be ridden; hard, and women need to be loved.

I've acquired a few strong opinions in my recent assignments.

Poprad, please please please let me photograph that project as it comes along.

Pretty please. I'm not even asking you to let me ride it. Simply drool at it.
