Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

BF seem to be taking too long to load?

I thought I would post here since this is the most active community. Just recently noticed that BF is taking longer than usual to load. Anyone else notice this? For me it is just with Bike Forum. Computer seems to be fine with other forums and functions.
What say yall?
Thanks,
Tony

It depends on the day, I have this problem sometimes too with BF.

Also I wish the forum pages would auto refresh every 30 secs or so.

Your computer is too slow. You need an iCervelo running iZipps.

+1

IE appears to hang for a minute or so and then everything frees up and starts working.

I'd probably the server choking on all the duplicate posts. I haven't heard much as far as details on what fixes they pushed to us on the 1st, nor when the next release will be. In the short term, try Google Chrome, it seems to have the least issues with speed over all and certainly is faster than IE.

Glad to see it's not just me. Getting hangs and browser crashes from time to time when I first load the page, but once I am here it seems ok.

Thanks for the replies. Now I know it is not just me or my puter. It started around the 1st of this month. It starts to load and then just hangs there for a minute or so kinda like when I had dialup in the late 1900's. :-) My puter is fast and works fine with all other forums and functions. If it didn't work so well, I would have aready went chrome, just don't need it just now.

Load time is fine. I just keep getting the annoying 30-second post errors.

We're having some network difficulties right now. It's system wide, not just BF. I just got off the phone with IB.
