Take your dog to work!

I do.
He was a little skeptical about the whole thing at first, as you can tell here, but it only took one day for him to get used to it.
I am lucky enough to be encouraged to bring Shiloh to work with me.
Life is good.

The first little while my dog Reese rode in the kiddy trailer, she'd jump out when she saw another dog or a critter. This is from a moving bike in the street, so much hilarity ensued.

I eventually worked out a way to harness her in so she could still move around a little and poke her head out, but not jump out. She eventually learned to relax a little inside the trailer.

That is sooooo cool. I am currently looking for a trailer on CL for my dog. How lucky to be able to take your dog to work with you. I too work in a dog friendly place, just haven't taken the pooches in yet.

It's nice of your work letting you bring your pets with you.Don't you think the dog would be happier to run beside you if it can? That's what they do for a living. If dogs could talk.....I'd like to be a fly on that wall.

If your dog can't walk,I understand....I think.

Both mine are just under 100 lbs each. One I could pull I think, but not both. And asking them to run fast enough to keep up with me for 20 miles in the Texas sun would be too much. That and I definitely don't work at a dog friendly place! I'd love to be able to take them on shorter rides though.

I see this guy often on my commute with a dog trailer, crossing the Williamsburg Bridge. I think it's a Lab mix, so cute

Soooo cuuuuute! In the summertime, I'll see a woman riding her bike with her little shih tzu sitting happily in the basket. The dog always looks so happy with the wind in her face.

Tell Shiloh that Luke says hi! Luke only wishes he could spend all day in an office full of adoring fans.

I work at a locksmith shop.
He is a little too old to run the 2.5 miles next to me, and I would worry about him running in traffic (I commute on busy chicago streets)
He is a mutt, not too sure about the mix, but I think there is some chow, maybe lab....i don't know.
He finally got used to it, and now he just lays in there. I even stop for coffee, lockup, and he just chills there, waiting for me.
So dam cute...

The FDA frowns on critters other than our approved inventory of categorized mice being in the labs. My pupster is staying at home.

Are you sure that's a dog? Looks like a bear!

That's great that you can bring the pooch to work.

Must get some good exercise hauling around crawdaddio's best friend.
