I've only been road biking for a few weeks, here's mine:
Added a second cage, cyclo-comp thingy and a saddle bag since the pic was taken

That's a lot of cross chain. Notice how the rear derailleur looks. You'll want to avoid extreme combination like that while biking.
That's a good looking bike though. I noticed the stem is flipped the correct way.

I know about the chain, already got that comment in a biking thread (diff forum), that pic was posted before I even had any idea of how to ride the thing, haha
Still learning but I'm less of a noob, I'm getting addicted tho, did 200 last week over a 40hours outside work job, feels good, slowly but surely getting in shape and lot of time left to get better (I'm only 17. Guess where all my summer money went so far?)

The Drive Side is Within
I've been a into road riding (albeit with a post- driver's license hiatus) since I was 12. So 20 years later, the best road bike I've managed to work up to is an '81 Hi-Ten Panasonic. 62 miles on it today.
66cm seat tube, 61cm TT.
it weighs about 26-27 lbs. and most importantly, fits!

My first step in getting back on the bike after 25 years. 2010 Felt F5 team, 54cm. Dura-Ace 39/53 crank, 11/23 cassette, Speedplay Zero Titanium, cages, tubes, repair kit. $2200 out the door from my LBS. Yes I know the stem needs to be flipped, and maybe lose a spacer on top. He insisted that I ride it for at least 500 miles this way after such a long break.
Boom.

I was looking at that bike heavily just a few days ago. I went with something else, but that bike is gorgeous in person.
Did you have to pay extra for the Dura-Ace crank? Doesn't it come in 105 stock?

Jim Felt is from Auburn. Why the hell is it designed in Southern California?

He probably felt that was a better place for his company to be based.

I believe that's a 2010 Defy 2. The 2009 Defy 3 had the blue color scheme, and the 2010 3 has a gray color scheme.

It's a 2009 defy 3, the 2010 defy 3 are yellow, they added the defy 4 this year which is grey themed, the defys 2 have tiagra while my 3 is sora, 2010 defy 3 is sora to, while the 4 is 2300 or something.
