Cancellara will just power through this like a diesel truck for the win...or maybe more like an electric car.

8.9 Km is about 85 football fields (including the end zones), or 99 if you don't count end zones.
I think the distance suits Wiggins, plus Cancellara might not be quite back to top form just yet.

I think the distance is too short for sparticus, i been noticing that as longer the distance the better he goes. This is a 12 to 15 minutes race, even LA can win this one! Is going to be tough to guess in my opinion.

While Wiggins was a pursuit rider, I think concentrating on GC fitness would decrease his flat-land under 10k race ability. The man to beat is Cancellara, a power house time trialing specialist.

Banned.
No way can LA win this based on performance we hace seen from him during his comeback.

He sounded very confident that he'd improved as a climber since last year (and at 6'3" and 71kg, I'm not surprised.) I think his pursuiting speed may be down a bit, and Cancellara, as always, is the man to beat today.

I think the more technically difficult a course is, sharp corners etc, the better for Cancellara also; his bike handling is superb and he always seems to take the optimal line on the road. This prologue looks very easy though.
