Obviously Cavendish. then Dean, then Ale-jet, then McEwen. Of more interest will be the intermediate sprints. Will Cavendish grab enough points to snatch the Green jersey on the final stage or will Ale-jet hold on?

The fact that either of them will win it over Hushov makes me happy.

If Cavendish wins he will get 197 + 35 = 232 points
With Petacchi on 213, he will need 233 – 213 = 20 points which is 6th place or better
I geuss the break aways will get the sprint points.
If columbia and mark want green, go for the sprint points and win both and petacchi gets second, (mark +4) then petacchi would need 4th or better at the finish for green.

Yep. Did they say if Radioshack sought approval for the jersey's prior to the race? Or did they try to "surprise" everyone?

Which kit do you prefer the red or black shack? That was pretty funny

Well they got their point across and plenty of TV time. Approved or not, it worked and I thought they where pretty cool looking soccer jerseys

Yeah, maybe the intention was to cause a "controversy" by not wearing an approved jersey. I wonder how many they've sold already.

The last couple of wins have shown how he's improved at a tactical sprinter. He knows who to follow if his lead out isn't there. That's something Tyler Farrar hasn't learned yet.

Renshaw is great and the 2 together are spectacular. But what we are seeing from Cav at this point in his career is something very special. He doesnt just win, he wins by multiple bike lengths. Those angles on the Champs really show just how much faster he is than anyone else.
All those haterz are eating so much crow its laughable.

Unreal. He makes sprints boring. Just when you think someone else has a chance he blasts by them like it's nothing.

What with the yellow bird trophy?
Did Cav won more than just the stage?

I can't believe Petacchi won the green. I had the guy on my Giro fantasy team and he was terrible. Killed me. Dropped for the Tour and the guy wins green.

IMO those leadouts made it simpler for him, but he showed that he can create his own openings if he has to, and when he does that there isn't anyone in the world who can stay with him.

WTF is with Andy Schlecks bikes??? Time for the team to get new mechanics or switch from Sram. Its sad that on an easy relax stage as today that he runs into chain/crank problems again and has to change bikes.
