Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Had a couple of teens do that to me recently. They were driving a VW Beetle and I thought to myself "a guy driving a car with a flower vase...whose the f@gg0t here?"

I get splattered all the time riding in the snow. Comes with the territory. On my rural roads I actually cause it because the drivers have to leave the fairly clear tire track areas of the roads as they move over to pass me. No big deal although my water bottle starts tasting really bad after a few of these "incidences".

It's hard to be annoyed, because watching someone get soaked in a wall of water, slush, and mud is always funny, even more so when a jacked up rig is involved. Just sayin'

It's winter there is salt and slush on the road. Deal with it and move on.

In case you missed it... I was never complaining. Hence the "epic".

if you see a car swerve into a big puddle just to spray water onto a pedestrian, do you tut tut or laugh? be honest.
