There's no turning the other cheek for me in this scenario. Had I gotten my hands on the motorist in this video he would have been in pain. Starts at 55 seconds.

Wow, it's amazing no one got killed. No serious injuries either. All 8 hospitalized riders were released by the next day.

Thank God. It looked like there was a clinic or care center right there where it happened since people were running out the door putting on rubber gloves.

Why are you on antibiotics? I had to do a round last summer after a tick bite. Definitely made me feel like arse and go slow.... well slower.

while it felt great to be on the bike, my ride today was very unsatisfying. Very heavy winds (15mph, with 30-40mph gusts) and getting caught in a squall of driving, cold rain (on a 70deg day) was bad enough. Then, on the wet, I went around a corner and was literally blown over . Minimal road rash, but when I got back on the bike there was a big problem. My front derailleur did not look right, and the chain was stuck between the rings . Mind you it was still raining. I got out my multitool and fixed it enough to stay in the little ring. I spun the rest of the way home.

25miles, 90 min ride time--2hrs out in the mess.

I honestly don't care for the RS, but I'd sure as heck take a free one.

It's very disturbing. You don't need to see it.

I haven't seen Robocop in a long time. You probably would pass on Sleepy Hollow as well. That was our Saturday night movie here this week.

Critical mass vid's not as gory as the pic of the racer with a giant splinter from the Manchester velodrome run through his calf.

Yeah, I didn't watch that vid. The still photo was enough for me. I don't like seeing cycling carnage.
