sounds kinda lame. I might just skip it...

I assume the C field will do about 12 laps, that means two intermediate sprints and one final sprint...

Then again, the perfect time to break away would be after the second prime/intermediate sprint...

Nah, C's. Hoping my pre-season training pays off and I don't get blown off the back like I did last year.

i'll be the guy on a cannondale six13 without the grillz in a Columbia kit. I'm easily spotted as i'll be sporting two powertap cervo headunits. After the race, i'll probably look like a huge d-bag wearing a tweed blazer. Come say hi if you get a chance.

Now knowing what goes on in a points race, i may not even want to participate in this royal clusterfark

if you want we can ride to the course and I'll keep the tempo lively to get you warmed up for the main event.

I'm probably easier to spot: I ride a steel-framed vintage Schwinn with a modern drivetrain. If I catch you around, though, I'll say hi.

But yeah, given the projected weather forecast for Sunday... this points race might be a dangerous proposition.

Jorge, we both know you'll fry my legs when you go over any rolling hills. Btw, if it's sunny next week, you should stop by Grant's Tomb and watch the crit.

Well, I'm all registered.

I've been preaching to the team about racing in the rain all semester, so I decided to save some face and just do it. This points race on Sunday is going to suck.

I'm not doing it . But if it rains during the Steven's race. Well let's say that i'll tough it out. A point race favoring the Paolo Bettini type sprinters is not my ideal race, and i have lab work to do on Sunday .

Well, I could use a good anaerobic workout and tactics practice session, even if it's in the rain. You're not skipping the weekend entirely, are you?

i'll be there on Saturday. I'm effing psyched to start racing again. I have been sidelined after a d-bag took me out in a usac crit last July.

Sadly, i even prepared for the point race by doing a bunch of anaerobic intervals yesterday.
