I see what you did there. I laughed.
But really, when it comes down to finding some one you really want to spend time with, having those plays very little in the longevity of the relationship. If all you care about are looks, father time has some horrible news for you.

That's why my plan is to become filthy rich, and not get married until I'm 95. That way I can keep upgrading to the newer model.

Having a plan is the first step to achieving your goals. My blessings and gods speed!

*snort* Thanks. Now excuse me - I'll be off having intercourse with a bagel.

Option one: Car rental for dates.
Option two: "I don't own a car because i'm saving up for a nice house/sailboat/investing so I can retire early."
Option three: "I don't own a car because I started walking and biking to get more exercise, realised I hardly ever started it up because I was getting good workout time in instead, so I gave it to someone who needed it. I figure if I start needing one again, I can just go pick one up."

If they're not receptive to those, then pfft, who needs them?

my ex would get pissed when I would ride over to her house. It's not like I ever drove when we would get together, we would take her jeep, better fuel mileage and it was nicer than my beater truck. It would get her going because she didn't really understand why I would rather ride over than drive.

I have had issues in the past with dating because of my lack of desire to drive. I have found that most people who are concerned about getting a little hot and sweaty are not going to work out, so if the want to take a risk of riding in my truck, not a nice ride, then I'll drive. After one ride in my truck, they offer to drive if it gets to that point.

Although, I'm a old married guy, when we want to go out, "we take a taxi". If your date is judging you based upon "which kind of car you drive", egads, dump the date asap!! :O If she/he asks, then tell them you've "chosen" to have a "car free", (as possible), lifestyle, either they will see the idea or you won't get a 2nd. date and look elsewhere for companionship, jmho, ymmv.

This.

My first date with my ex girlfriend, now spouse in cohabitation, was a skiing trip on sea ice. No private cars were involved at any point of the date. I guess it went OK seeing where we are now. OP, good luck!

If her daddy's rich, take her out for a meal.
If her daddy's poor, just do as you feel.
