Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My team's kit is Pactimo.

They have 2 bib models - Summit and Ascent. Summit is better than Ascent. Neither one is particularly great, but neither one is particularly bad. Durability seems to be okay, and comfort isn't terrible. Summit has better chamois.

Not sure which one this is.

Is it a thicker or thinner pad? Are the sections 'rounded' or more dense and 'boxed'?

How would these compare to a specialized BG comp bib short in terms of chamois?

I HATE buying clothes I can't see, and I can't see the stitches or pad. Angry. I'm sending them an email.

Never used Specialized bibs, but I'd bet the Specialized are better.

Plain black Pactimo Ascent bibs are sometimes $40 at sierratradingpost.com. For that price, I think they are a great deal. You don't get to show your support for World Bicycle Relief though, which is a great cause.
