Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't know if I posted this already but we're keeping this guy:

He's very well behaved and we've gone on a 3 mile run every day since we had him (last Thursady). Getting him neutered early next week. If the owners ever show up, they probably aren't getting him back. He had SEVERE ear infections and was emaciated and 10lbs underweight. And nobody has been looking for him.

Every time I think you can't further establish yourself as BF's Leading Imbecile, you surprise me.

As for Coldplay 'sucking', quick, somebody tell the tens of millions of fans who buy their albums and go to their sold out stadium shows.

Back to your Country Music Television and Nascar viewing.

Coincidentally. Every time I think you can't further establish yourself as BF's Leading Imbecile, you surprise me. I hate country music with a passion the very sound of that banjo garbage makes my skin crawl. Furthermore I consider Nascar, an insult to motorsports. Coldplay is okay, but J. Mayer I cannot stand, his work is quite possibly as bad as country music. Luckily for your sponsor. There are plenty of idiots around that like all of that crap.

You found a stray and have been taking care of him? That's awesome! Keep up the good work.

You really are a lunkhead.

Your honor, I rest my case.

How the eff could anyone not like J. Mayer and country music? What do you like? Metallica?

I also like many of the acts you mentioned. But the ultimate mark of intolerant stupidity is telling somebody their favorite color is ugly. Well done.

Besides, if you can't appreciate J. Mayer's considerable talent, it says much more about your musical judgement than anything I could ever say. Whether you like him or not, that's another matter. That's subjective you tasteless weight weenie buffoon.

Happily for all concerned, the BF Holy See tolerates all in the BF Flock, even you.

I've wanted a dog for quite some time and he is perfect for my personality (affectionate, high energy, intelligent, strong willed, good in the mountains). It took some time to convince my wife (baby + allergies) but it wasn't too hard with how lovable he is.

Thanks. I couldn't believe he was a stray and nobody was looking for him.

He's learning. He was only in the house for an hour when we took that pic. He's much cleaner. And he's getting his balls chopped off tomorrow.

The vet thought he may have been a stud at a puppy mill or owned by a family that couldn't provide the care he needs (VERY high energy and exercise requirements). I don't have any other good theories myself... we called all shelters in a 60 mile radius and nothing..

That is one good looking dog. There have been quite a few people giving up dogs lately around here as times are tough, and people can't afford to take care of them. Someone dumped off a golden near my sister's house in Chicago. I nearly drove there to pick him up, but they found a new owner locally.

There are a lot of dogs at the no-kill shelters around here too... mostly chihuahuas, boxers, pits. The dogs nobody wants.

I rode the S2 again this AM. Man that bike rides so smooth. I can't get over what a comfortable bicycle it is.

I don't care what Di2 weighs, it's like having your derailleurs hard wired to your bike weenie friggin brain. I really want it on the TT bike. I shall make it so. But it may take considerable scheming, eBay wheeling and dealing, money laundering and slush funding.

I don't care for those breeds, but those are awfully popular dogs. Pitbulls are really sweet dogs. They are not naturally aggressive in the least. People make them that way.

S.A. and I are Cervelo Brothers. So we may bicker and snipe, but there is no bond stronger. Except for Di2 Brotherhood, but that's considerably above his Flyover Pay Grade.

Agreed.. but it is easy to overbreed or inbreed them and they tend to be owned by scumbags that want to look tough therefore injecting aggression into their bloodline. Boxers are one of my favorite dogs.
